Who knew that sniffing an apple was a cure for the common headache?

Everyone has a headache cure, and they don’t always work. Some of these home remedies don’t make any sense, but people swear by them.

Who knew that sniffing a green apple could reduce headache pain? The smell can reduce muscle contractions that will lead to a painful headache. Another cure is using a thick book as a pillow. It’s thought that a stiff book and the way you position your head on it can tighten and strengthen the small muscles in your neck to provide relief.

Most headache cures revolve around body posture and positioning yourself as to not strain or pull any muscles. Many headaches are caused by stress and these cures are easy ways to deal with them.

About 3 out of 4 headaches are caused by tension in the scalp and neck muscles, and there is no one cure for them. Because not all cures were created equal, the next time you are suffering from a headache give us a call 0141 339 0894

Hope you’re feeling well,

Online Osteopathy

Not a lot of people know this, but Osteopathy is one of the fastest-growing fields in healthcare. With a 300% increase in new graduates over the past twenty years according to the American Osteopathic Association, there are a lot people don’t know about osteopathic medicine though.

That is why Timothy Tsai a fourth year medical student at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine created a free and open online course to help doctors, patients and their families to better understand this still growing medical field.

Learn about the free Osteopathy course here

This means that medical students, family members of Osteopathic patients and everyone in between can gain a better understanding of what Osteopathic Medicine is, and how it can help people with an assortment of ailments. The best part is that it’s free and available to everyone.

Thank you,
