Healthy Halloween Ideas

  1. Go guising! – Take the kids or grandkids around the neighbours and burn some calories to make up for indulging in some spooky sweets.
  2. Swap crisps for carrots – grapes make great eyeballs, carrots scary witch fingers and spaghetti creepy witches’ hair. Don’t just pick up the big tub of sweets from the supermarket – get inventive and try adding in some easy healthy treats too.
  3. Cook your pumpkins – after scooping out the centre to make lanterns use the delicious and healthy pumpkin flesh to make soup, add to casseroles or roast as a tasty alternative to chips.
